Two strong home wins have seen Rangers first team rise up the table to sixth place. They followed a 51-0 hammering of Salford City Roosters with a hard fought 18-16 victory over table toppers Crosfield. Coach Craig Farrimond had previously expressed frustration at their inconsistent away form following a 44-14 defat at East Leeds the last time they were on their travels. The players now have a weekend off before they travel to Bradford Dudley Hill looking to kick on and sustain their improved form.
