Congratulations to our U13s (above) who’ve been crowned joint champions of the NW Counties Premier Division. Coached by Darrell Rogers and Shane Wilson, they actually finished with a better points difference than the team who were joint top but the league decided they should share the title.

Meanwhile, we had a win and a loss in the Oldham Cup finals last Sunday. The U15s beat Mayfield 44 -16 while the U16s went down 18-40 to St Annes.

And well done to U16s forward Sam Eyres who’s been selected to represent Lancashire. His achievement is particularly impressive because the side plays in the second division with most of the squad coming from teams in the top tier.
