The Super League Grand Final ended in disapointment for former Rangers junior Joe Greenwood as his Wigan side dramatically lost to St Helens in the last second of the match. He’d started on the bench and played his part in a bruising and memorable encounter.

But... a try on the hooter did bring an exciting end to the night for our U12s who’d been lucky enough to get picked out as virtual mascots for Joe’s opponents St Helens.
The team got to have a zoom conversation with two Saints players in the week before receiving a shirt and a goodies box to enjoy watching the match.
